Growing up, I was always drawn to creating—whether admiring artists of all kinds or studying photography. At the same time, I grew up in the restaurant world. My parents proudly owned and operated a family restaurant in Webster Groves for 42 years. From the ages of nine through seventeen, I spent nearly every day after school and every Saturday helping there—answering phones, serving guests, and even cooking. That experience instilled in me the strong work ethic and dedication I carry into everything I do today.

I began experimenting with hair and makeup, styling friends and family for fun. By 2017, I felt called to pursue my passion more seriously. I enrolled in a local makeup certification course and later trained at the Make Up First School in Chicago, where I completed a hairstyling program designed for makeup artists. Since then, I’ve continued to grow my craft through countless one-on-one, hands-on classes with talented artists across the St. Louis community.
I’ve been fortunate to freelance with many photographers and be part of incredible hair and makeup teams here in St. Louis. One of the things I love most is our supportive “wedding community”—we truly celebrate and uplift one another, and I’m so grateful for the friendships I’ve built along the way.
For me, hair and makeup is deeply personal. My goal with every client is to create a look that not only enhances their natural beauty but also feels authentically them. One of my favorite quotes is: “Be yourself, everyone else is taken.” I carry this with me into every appointment, because I believe beauty should always feel true to who you are.

Rachel is my sister and my go-to hair expert. With over 20 years of experience in hairstyling, she brings incredible skill and a dependable touch to every appointment. She also offers part-time nail services, making her a versatile part of Lilihulooks.
Known for setting the tone with her upbeat music and positive energy, Rachel ensures every client feels welcomed and at ease. When she’s not behind the chair or doing nails, you’ll often find her enjoying quality time with her senior dog, Tyke.
